Чibis is one of the most common waders in our region, which is one of the first to arrive and the nesting birds leave very early as well - in July. The young ones stay until September. In spring, they appear as soon as the roadside thaw. The bird is completely harmless and defenseless, its only salvation being the cry of a crying child and its maneuverable flight, while for the chicks - a protective coloration and stillness.
